Mouth sounds rule everything around me.
I became interested in The Word a few years ago when my girlfriend brought to my attention a book called Lost In Translation by Ella Frances Sanders, a book focusing on words found throughout different cultures that express universal experiences and habits along with simple illustrations of those ideas.
And now it’s my turn to bring you The Word; a place to talk about The Word and all that it dictates: its ability to form abstract ideas into concrete understanding by giving meaning to the noise we make (some more than others), and to create from the root structures of ancient cultures, new meaningful words that expand on previous ideas, as well as experiences, found universally within the . . . well, human experience. Isn’t that great!? I thought so.
